Rocky Flats Picnic 2009

Hi Everybody,

Hi all, The RFNW group was started to organize
the sick nuclear workers
who were denied claims to the EEOICPA.
We are trying to help anyone
who needs a an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on.
Most of us feel like we are
the invisible-not only do we have cancer, but we are ignored
by the very people who caused it.
I will be very happy to give anybody who wants it-my statement.
(And I have!)
My claim is being re-evaluated at this time and if I get another denial, I plan to get a lawyer and file a lawsuit.
I hope anyone else who gets denied will do the same.

Thanks,
Judy Padilla

Chaz Tedesco and Doug Fennel, representing the United Steelworkers pledged to help us.
They said that what is happening in the EEOICP claims process is wrong.
Too many cancer and berylliosis claims are being rejected.

Thank-you to everyone who attended.
There is plenty of work ahead for us.
Carolyn Boller stated that we need more than 1/2 of the House to vote yes on the Charlie Wolf Act.
Please help us keep up the momentum ! Stand up and tell your story.

On March 27, 2010 we attended the Labor 2010 Candidate Briefing hosted by the Pipefitters Local 208. Union representatives each spoke briefly on problems facing the workers in the upcoming year. Some of the political representatives speaking included; Jared Polis, Betsy Markey and Ed Perlmutter. State
and local representative were also in attendance.

Thank-you to Congressman Jared Polis and Congresswoman Betsy Markey for your kind comments
and support for our cause.

Thank You,
